What is an AI career assessment?
Short answer
An AI career assessment evaluates how artificial intelligence is changing the specific work a person does, rather than profiling their personality or interests. It examines the tasks in the role, scores how exposed those tasks are to automation and assistance, identifies which capabilities remain defensible, and recommends what to learn next. The output is a current-state diagnosis plus an action plan, not a career-fit label.

What it means
A traditional career assessment asks who you are: your preferences, aptitudes and working style, and then suggests occupations that fit. That question is still valid, but it assumes the occupations themselves are stable.
An AI career assessment asks a different question: given the work you already do, what is changing, and how fast? It treats your role as a set of tasks and skills that are each being revalued by AI - some downward, some upward.
