The connections traditional occupational systems miss

One in six real moves crosses a sector boundary.

Sector-by-sector progression charts are genuinely useful, but each one looks at a single industry: retail's chart shows moves within retail, logistics' chart shows moves within logistics. Roughly one in six of the connections in our graph crosses a sector boundary - a data entry operator into insurance claims, a delivery rider into warehouse operations. Those are where real careers actually go, and nothing that looks at one sector at a time can see them.
